+ ABOUT

An artist’s eye.
A designer’s discipline.

Zeus Creative is the independent graphic design studio of Kirsten Engstrom, helping businesses, institutions, nonprofits, and marketing teams turn established brands and ideas into thoughtful, compelling materials built for the real world.

For more than 25 years, Kirsten has combined creative instinct with careful execution across publications, marketing collateral, events, campaigns, and the many places a brand needs to show up.

+ MEET KIRSTEN

Thoughtful by nature.
Personal by approach.

For Kirsten, design has never been just about making something look good.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a lifelong connection to creating art, she approaches every project with a deep respect for craft, clarity, and detail. She thinks carefully about hierarchy, typography, imagery, and how each piece guides someone through the information in front of them.

The goal is always the same: create something that feels distinctive and beautifully considered while still doing its job — attracting attention, communicating clearly, and helping people take the next step.

And when you work with Zeus, you work directly with Kirsten. No layers. No creative handoffs. Just an experienced partner who gets to know your brand, asks questions, pays attention to the details, and stays close to the work from beginning to end.

+ THE STORY BEHIND ZEUS

A name with history.
A legacy carried forward.

Zeus Creative has always been personal.

Kirsten’s father was also a graphic designer. Years ago, the two of them talked about leaving their respective roles and starting a studio together. He wanted to call it Zeus — a name connected both to Kirsten’s dog and to the creative power associated with the name.

He passed away before they had the chance to build that business together. When Kirsten later started her own studio, she chose Zeus as a tribute to him and to the creative connection they shared.

Today, that legacy shows up less in the name itself and more in the way Kirsten approaches the work: with care for the craft, respect for the details, and a belief that thoughtful design can make an idea feel real.

+ THE ZEUS APPROACH

The details matter.
So does the relationship.

Listen first.

Before designing anything, Kirsten takes the time to understand what you’re communicating, who needs to see it, and what the finished piece needs to accomplish.

Design with intention.

Every choice has a reason — from information hierarchy and typography to color, imagery, format, and production.

Carry it through.

Whether it’s one piece or an entire family of materials, the goal is consistency, clarity, and thoughtful execution across every touchpoint.
